Sometimes, time flies. You might look back on an event and say, it's hard to believe that was 10 years ago. Other times, the opposite is the case: a weekend might seem as long as a week, a week as long as a month. Why so? In this week's Southern Star, my column explores the importance of novelty and variety, and how time goes slower when you pack your days with new experiences.
